Remove Web Assistant toolbar and search

I have the Web Assistant toolbar and search on my Internet browsers. It was installed without my permission. I found it irritating because it replaces my Google with Web Assistant search. This program also added a toolbar that makes the top of my browser too crowded.

Last thing I installed is Incredimail/Incredibar, but with Web Assistant, it seems to be so redundant. Is this program a malware or something? How does it manage to change some of my settings without my knowledge? If so, why does my antivirus program did not flag it as suspicious?

Please tell me how to remove Web Assistant from my computer. Since my antivirus cannot detect it, I have to resort to other procedures.
