Yontoo adware removal

After downloading a tool from the web, which I thought would help me speed up my download speed; I ended up messing the computer with Yontoo virus. This threat is bugging my Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Google Chrome. Yontoo toolbar is all over my browser. My home page is changed with unknown search engine.

Apparently, I have removed the tool I downloaded but was not able to delete Yontoo from the computer. Various scripts from this adware keep on popping-up each time I browse the web like Buzzdock and Sanity Switch. The latest I’ve seen is Pagerage by Yontoo. I keep on ignoring these pop-ups but I guess there is no way that it will stop from appearing on my PC.

AVG is my installed antivirus software. I have used it to scan the computer. It found no infection other than a couple of adware. After deleting the identified threat, I was hoping that I will never see Yontoo LLC products after reboot. Sadly, the adware is still intact.

I couldn’t think of any other way to uninstall Yontoo. I am seeking procedures from various forums and boards but most requires a paid application. Is there a way to get rid of this adware without the need to purchase any tools? If I will not be lucky to find a solution, I was thinking of reformatting Windows.
