Remove System Progressive Protection Firewall Alert

System Progressive Protection Firewall Alert is currently disturbing my computer. Each time I run Internet Explorer, the alert will pop-up saying that the program is contaminated with SVCHOST.Stealth.Keyloger worm. Then, it won’t open anymore. Running another browser also shows the same sign so I cannot access the Internet to download any removal tool. This is an excerpt from the fake security warning:

System Progressive Protection Firewall Alert
System Progressive Protection Firewall Alert has blocked a program from accessing the Internet.
Internet Explorer Internet browser is infected with worm SVCHOST.Stealth.Keylogger. This worm is trying to send your credit card details using Firefox Internet Browser to connect to remote host.
Name: Internet Explorer
Location: C:\Program Files\ Internet Explorer \explore.exe
Activate System Progressive Protection
To ensure continuous protection of your PC, you should activate System Progressive Protection on this computer.

Please help me remove System Progressive Protection Firewall Alert. This virus is resting on my computer for 2 days now.

Sincerely,
Dijian

Run an anti-malware program to remove System Progressive Protection Firewall Alert. Obviously, this is a fake notification that issues fake warning. It will appear on the desktop if your computer is infected with a rogue program, which in this case it is System Progressive Protection.

After scanning the PC with anti-malware tool, you must also consider running an anti-rootkit scanner. Usually, fake antivirus these days are packed with the rootkit Trojan so they can penetrate the system easily. I am using Rootkit Remover from McAfee that you can download from this link:

Type in this key to unlock and hit register. Found it on YouTube and it works enough to run programs to get rid it of it.

I can say that you are dealing with the most harmful and damaging rogue program these days. I was got infected with System Progressive Protection few days back. You should really do many scans using various security programs. Manual removal is not an option because you might damage some system files.

First, if your antivirus program is working fine, update it and run a scan with it after you have started Windows in Safe mode. If that does not resolve the issue, you may need to download these free scanners. Download the following files from a clean computer and burn it to a disc.

    Bitdefender Rescue CDhttp://www.bitdefender.com/support/How-to-create-a-BitDefender-Rescue-CD-627.html

    Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/rescuedisk?level=2#downloads

    Windows Defender Offlinehttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/what-is-windows-defender-offline

After the scan, I hope you will have complete control of your computer once more.

Please help me; after my computer got infected with System Progressive Protection virus I cannot start Microsoft Security Center. I am having MSE- get error code 0x80070645. I have tried every solution I can find from MS web site but to no avail. The error code keeps on bugging security center.

The best solution I have found is from this web site: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_update/windows-update-error-code-0x80070645-trying-to/879dbdca-e21f-441b-b7ba-befda1dde08f?tm=1354678129043

Still, it did not resolve my issue on MSC after it was hit with System Progressive Protection. As far as I know, my computer is already clean. So, what else could be causing the error? Any help is highly appreciated.

    Thanks,
