Remove mytoolsapp.info redirect virus

Since yesterday, each time I browse the Internet and view any web site, my browser opens a new window and loads a tab or page of mytoolsapp.info. With this virus on my PC, I was not able to open or view intended web site. Cancelling the web site and typing another URL seems to trick the malware and I can visit web sites I want, however, I noticed that all links on that site is being redirected to mytoolsapp.info.

I have run several viruses and malware scans on the computer but the mytoolsapp.info redirect virus still persists. I have tried cleaning my browsers by deleting cookies and other data but to no avail. mytoolsapp.info is still hijacking every web site I plan to visit. Kindly help me remove this virus because I am running out of options and thinking of reformatting my PC.

Regards,
Nnadura
