Remove Funmoods toolbar and redirect

I am very upset with funmoods toolbar. Since I got this add-ons, all my searches are keep on redirecting to other web sites, mostly advertisement pages. Also, I notice that funmoods slows down my internet browsing. My other computers who do not have this add-on browse the web so fast. So, I am certain that the plug-in is causing my internet to behave badly lately. Please tell me how to remove this funmoods toolbar. I need an advice on how to stop the redirect when I do a search on the Internet.

There are many ways to remove Funmoods. Here are just some of the ways I know that will work efficiently.

    Internet Explorer:
    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Go to Tools > Options.
    3. On General tab, proceed to ”Change search defaults” and click the “Settings” button.
    4. You will see a list of search providers. Select your desired search provider and click the button “Set as default” to replace Funmoods.
    5. You may now remove searchnu.com from the list.

    Mozilla Firefox:
    1. Open Mozilla Firefox Internet Browser.
    2. On Google’s Search box, click the “arrow down” beside the logo.
    3. Select “Manage Search Engine” from the drop-down list.
    4. Choose your desired search default (like Google) and click the button “Move up.” It should be on the top of the list to set it as default.
    5. You can now remove other installed search engine.

    Google Chrome:
    1. Open Google Chrome.
    2. Click on the Wrench icon on top right corner of the browser.
    3. Choose “Settings” from the drop down list.
    4. Select “Basics.”
    5. Click on “Manage search engines” under SEARCH settings area.
    6. Hover your mouse to a preferred search engine and click “Make default.”
    7. You can now remove Funmoods search by clicking on the X mark.

Thanks Jerdei, your procedure seems to work. My computer is now free from funmoods. I can browse the web better now without the hassles and advertisements. Connection is also much faster now. Unlike before, it takes a while before web pages loads completely.

Thank you. I had gone to Control Panel to remove the Funmoods program, then to Firefox tools/Add-ons to remove Funmoods there, also installed Malwarebytes to remove, but there was STILL some Funmoods on the toolbar. Your directions to got to Manage Search Engines were the final step in getting rid of Funmoods.
